Radio Advert; Planning, Construction & Final Product

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5eAtZXcB7Zg - PLANNING FOR RADIO ADVERT.
Planning for the radio advert took several attempts at achieving a script which was suitable for our audience. A number of different styles were tried and we experimented by sometimes using two people in the advert. We looked at conversational tones and more persuasive tones and we finally came up with a script we liked.
Also the music in the background was very important and as we are able to play the piano, we decided to play the music ourselves. There are different types of styles of music we tried and we began to match the music with the script as well as we could for the construction.

Constructing the radio advert was a lot like the planning except the script had been decided. The voice-over was more clear and we did voice-over's each. We decided on choosing the final product from one of those.

On the Final Product, music was added and the script was tweaked slightly so the audience would be able to instantly realise what we are selling, therefore making it more effective.
These construction pictures shows the way in which we were able to put the voice over and background music together. Using the Software allowed us to cut out unessential parts of the script and allow the voice over to be louder than the music. This was definitely important as it meant that we were able to create a professional sounding radio advert.

  1. Very good posting all this on You Tube. I could not get any sound for the planning of your radio advert. You need to include explanations as part of the construction for your radio advert.
A very good idea of having the billboard in situ while the radio advert is being played.
