As we have already created a contents page, we knew we have to keep the same layout for our next edition. So the planning stages for our second edition was to change the content and editors letter which is what we done on Microsoft word.
Here, we completed our contents on photoshop. However as the screen shots show we completely changed the background. We thought it would be more exciting and interesting if we related the contents page to the theme of this edition which was 'FOOD and CHRISTMAS'. We even edited the font to be more creative. The Christmas light look received good feedback as people enjoyed the whole Christmas atmosphere.
These are a few screen shots showing where we got our font from and how we placed it into photoshop. We then have shown a few steps of us changing a picture to make it stand out against the red background.
These show what we have included in this issue and again us changing the contrast of a image.
This is how our product looks like, we are very pleased with how the effects of the font and background came out. Merry Christmas is written by us with the pencil tool on photoshop. We thought this is ideal as an Editors letter is a personal touch with the editor and the reader.
