Breast Cancer Edition; Advert - Planning, Construction & Final Product

The first step of planning this advertisement we created basic templates on Microsoft word in order for us to chose the one we found most suited for a printed advert. Once we created these it was easier for us to chose and see which layout had most potential for the advert.

The next step was to insert the image we will be using to advertise, so the next stage of planning was to place the image in our templates and see how they look it.
These screen shots are more templates with the image and colours we chose to associate our advert with. It was very difficult with deciding our main structure for this advertisement so creating more ideas helped us chose which one is best. We went along with this style in the end and developed it a lot.
Once our planning was completed, we started to construct the ad in Photoshop. As you can see we experimented with changing the vibrance, saturation and cropped the image to suit it to a advertising standard.
Once we altered the vibrance of the image, we then started to create the text for the advertisement and chose warm colours to match with the elegant, classy and luxurious furniture we are advertising.
We focused on the text more here. Firstly we kept replacing the text around the chair to see if it went well however, we then changed the text by inserting an image and using the 'polygon tool' to cut out the white background so we can place it onto our advertisement.
We went onto 'Text' and used the smooth effect and enlarged it so it stood out more across the chair. The use of colour also matches the background and by using 'gold' connnotates luxury, elegance and exclusiveness which is exactly what we wanted to aim for.
The next part of construction was to include the information about the company as it is an advertisement, the audience will be drawn into the luxurious look of the furniture and would want to know where they can purchase these items from and more importantly more about the company. So we cropped the image so we can have a larger space for the writing. We then used a font which was exclusive to photoshop and included all the relevant text which will attract our readers.
The final screen shot in photoshop shows you the completed product. We used many techniques in photoshop to create the effects of the image and also to place the text with a bold and attractive appearance also was achieved by using text tools and fading, smoothing and cropping was a major step in developing our product.
